  1. Sum up from Jock

A lovely time at Coppet. Great to have a concert there as part of the town's National Swiss Day festivities.

Lovely, friendly people who made us feel very special and appreciated, lots of requests to return to Coppet in the near future. Great concert in a very picturesque lakeside setting.

International Olympic Museum, Lausanne - this was very good indeed. A superb way to make a museum interesting and engaging.

Our final concert is now underway in Casino Montbenon, Lausanne - home of the city's professional orchestra and chamber groups. Lovely to see a good-sized audience has turned up - things going very well indeed.

  3. Glacier summed up

HCTB had a brilliant day on the glacier - be it the music, food, scenery (awesome), cable cars, toboggan etc. the weather was definitely in our favour. In the process of making the long journey back to the hotel at the mo - all the longer due to major traffic hold ups around Montreux. We're now making good progress & the hotel are on alert to provide a later than planned meal for us.

A journey with a challenge! Near vertical coach trip followed by 2 incredibly spectacular cable car trips and we are finally here. HCYBs have played in some amazing locations but this one tops them all!
Concert in progress followed by lunch and then some downtime for some white knuckle pursuits.

    Beautiful Bernex!!!
After a journey across the mountains & passes we have arrived. The scenery is utterly spectacular - amazing alpine views, if only it can be seen...,, wet (very) misty and cloudy... Nothing on view.
Tonight's concert has been moved indoors to a superb and very large hall. A large crowd is gathering which is nice to see.

After a fascinating morning at CERN (Centre for European Nuclear Research) - Large Hadron Collider and all that, we moved on to Yvoire for our first tour concert. Great setting, great audience. After 3 pieces the rain set in and so we moved to the adjacent medieval town hall - taking the audience with us.
    Great concert!

Now some downtime in Yvoire before moving on to Evian for a meal & then Bernex for our evening concert. Hope the weather improves as the scenery is spectacular if only it can be seen!

Morning spent in a very pretty but very wet Annecy. Chloe, our excellent
tour rep managed to arranged to get us up to our hotel earlier to get us out of the rain.
Afternoon rehearsal followed by evening meal followed by a Cathi-led quiz / charades / non instrumental musical challenges. Hopefully more sleep than last night to look forward to. A busy day with a better weather forecast awaits tomorrow.
